The Medical Education and Simulation Hub (MESH) is a department within the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust (MYHT) based at Pinderfields Hospital. This privacy policy will explain how we use the personal data collected from you when you use our website.

Register online for the Learning Hub
Enrol to register and pay for a course we provide.
Voluntarily complete our contact form.

MESH may also receive your data from WorldPay in order for us to match your payment with your course registration.

How will we use your data?

MESH collects your data so that we can:

Respond to your enquiry promptly and precisely.
Process your registration for the Learning Hub.
Process your enrolment onto a specific course you wish to book onto.
Contact you with course information and pre-course information.
Contact you with course updates should you be placed on a waiting list.
Contact you with news and information regarding our services.
Produce paper documentation such as course sign-in registers.
Inform tutors and educational faculty of who is registered for a course.

How do we store your data?

MESH securely stores your data on hospital property.

We will keep your data for 7 years. Once this time period has expired we will destroy your data. This will be done by deleting files on our servers that contain your information. Hard copies such as course sign-in registers will be destroyed in the Trust’s confidential waste disposal process.

If you wish for us to destroy your data before 7 years, please contact us.

Marketing

MESH would like to send you information about our services that we think you might be interested in. You can opt out of this upon registering on the MESH website however you can always opt out at a later date which can be done by contacting us using the details at the bottom of this policy.
