I have worked in the Directorate of Medical Education here at Mid Yorks for the past 25 years. I am currently employed as the Education Centre Manager covering our Centre at Pinderfields and the Oakwell Centre at Dewsbury Hospital. The Reception Teams along with myself are here to ensure your visit to the Centre is an enjoyable experience. We pride ourselves on providing a professional service to all those who use our facilities. The best part of my job is the variety. No two days are the same as I work with a wide range of people both internal and external to the Trust. On top of looking after the Centre’s, I have an admin role to play which includes processing the junior doctor study leave, ensuring their mandatory training is completed, inductions and I also provide support for the SAS doctors (this is not an inclusive list as there are many aspects to junior doctor training).
